Yogic Breathing

A Modern Approach to the Ancient Practice of Pranayama

For thousands of years yogis have known that the breath is the key to mental, physical and emotional well being.  Often emotionally and mentally cleansing, this class offers the opportunity to focus fully on the fourth limb of yoga—pranayama. By using basic breathing techniques, gentles holds and meditation, student will have the opportunity to release long-held tension from the somatic nervous system and  the energy body. Students at every level of practice are welcome and encouraged to attend.  If you are being treated for any serious medical, psychological or psychiatric conditions, we recommend you consult your healthcare provider before engaging yogic breath work.
