Private Sessions
Sometimes healing and spiritual growth require more individualized attention. To facilitate this, I offer private sessions to help delve deep into the body, heart and mind. By working one-on-one, I am able to address your specific needs and to help you release blockages that can be difficult to process in a group setting. Whether you are working with an injury or medical condition, need to refine your yoga practice or simply need to talk about cultivating a more yogic lifestyle, private sessions can provide you with valuable tools.

Individual Sessions: $125
Package of Four: $400
Private Yoga Instruction
By working one-on-one with a yoga teacher, serious students are able to learn details about poses, breathing and meditation that can be difficult to learn in a large group. Private instruction is especially helpful if you are new to the practice, struggling with certain poses or have medical issues that need attention. Valuable modifications, the proper use of props and specific adjustments are all covered. Some find that even one or two sessions are enough to take their practice to the next level while others prefer regular sessions to augment their group practice.
Yoga Counseling
Much more than just a stretching class, yoga is a lifestyle, and deeper practices can bring up a number of questions about the transformational process that yoga initiates. In yoga counseling, we explore the non-physical aspect of yoga. Perhaps we will discuss ways to modify your lifestyle, or maybe we will talk about issues that arise during the practice or how applying the principles of yoga philosophy can heal all aspects of one’s life.
Many find that yoga counseling is a great way to organize thoughts, understand the practice in a much more personal way and get valuable coaching in creating a more spiritually grounded lifestyle.
Counseling Sessions can be conducted in person if you are in the San Francisco area or via phone, Skype or FaceTime if you are in another part of the world.
Note: Yoga counseling is not psychotherapy and is not a replacement for psychological counseling and other forms of therapy.
